About
Fifteen years of knowing what a functioning organization looks like
Mais Cher Consulting was founded by Triniece Matthews, a business operations and infrastructure consultant who has spent her career building the systems that let companies run without heroics.
The founder
Triniece Matthews
Triniece's background spans human resources, operations, entrepreneurship, organizational development, compliance and government contracting. That range is unusual — and it's the reason this work is possible. Fixing how a business runs requires understanding people systems and process systems at the same time.
She has led a team of 29 HR specialists in a national talent operation, where the hiring and onboarding systems she designed were associated with 98% first-year retention, a 40% reduction in hiring fallout, and measurable improvements in candidate quality and time-to-fill.
On the operations side, she has managed scheduling, logistics, inventory, purchasing, resource allocation, hiring, training and workflow design — and written the policies, operational procedures, safety protocols and training resources that hold those functions together.
In government contracting, she has developed RFP responses, capability statements, technical approaches, pricing matrices, compliance documentation and past-performance narratives.
How we think
Four principles behind every engagement
One
Judgment first, tools second
We use AI heavily behind the scenes to move faster — drafting, documenting, structuring. But nothing reaches a client without human review, and we don't sell "AI consulting." We sell businesses that run better.
Two
Fixed scope, not open-ended hours
Every engagement has a defined outcome, timeline and price agreed in writing before work starts. You should never be surprised by an invoice.
Three
Diagnose before prescribing
We won't quote a buildout before we understand the business. That's what the diagnostic is for — and sometimes the honest answer is that you don't need us yet.
Four
Build for handover
The goal is a business that runs without us — and without you having to be in every room. Documentation and training are part of the deliverable, not an upsell.
Who we work with
Founders whose businesses outgrew their systems
Most of our clients are founders and owner-operators of growing companies — often somewhere between their first hire and their first real management layer.
-
Startups adding their first employees
Building HR and onboarding infrastructure properly the first time.
-
Professional and home-service firms
Where delivery quality depends on repeatable process and trained people.
-
Childcare, engineering and operations-heavy businesses
Scheduling, compliance, safety documentation and staffing systems.
-
Small businesses pursuing government contracts
Solicitation analysis, compliance and proposal development support.
The competitive advantage isn't knowing how to write prompts. It's knowing what a functioning organization is supposed to look like.
